    MIKE - THE ENTERTAINER

    is delighted to make his debut with New Ambassadors. He has appeared off-Broadway with Classical Theatre of Harlem in numerous productions, including their portion of 365 DAYS/365 PLAYS at the Public Theatre. Off-off Broadway, he has worked with the New York Fringe, Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, Theatre Ten Ten, Theatre 2020, and the American Living Room Festival at HERE. He is also a playwright, who was featured at this past June's Valdez Theatre Conference with his new play AN ARCTIC CONFEDERATE CHRISTMAS . Since 2019, he has served as co-Creative Director for Naked Angels' Tuesdays at Nine cold reading series.

    OLIVER - What You Will

    is a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company conservatory program. He is a versatile actor, singer, director, and writer. His most recent play, "Ephemory Lane", premiered at New Ambassadors' Blurring Boundaries Festival in 2021. Numerous NYC appearances include A Little Princess (US premiere-Signature); The Spoon River Project (NYC premiere-Greenwood Cemetery); Carnival Round the Central Figure (NYC premiere-IRT). Select film: Zero Issue; WARFIELD; The Lion’s Den. Web series: Mythos (ITVFest award-winner). David is a founding member of New Ambassadors Theatre Company, and was recently re-elected to its Board.

    is a writer, actor, and director who's thrilled to be back with New Ambassadors for the third Blurring Boundaries festival! John studied at Yale and William Esper Studio. John most recently performed in David Adam Gill's IRREGULARS at the Cherry Lane Theater. John cowrote the full-length play TIGHT FIVE with Jennifer Downes, also at The Cherry Lane. Jennifer Downes is John's partner in all things and deserves at least half the credit, and blame, and on all John projects.

    A proud member of NATC, Saadiq was most recently seen in David Gill’s “Irregulars”. This will be his fourth production with the company. He can soon be seen in the independent feature film “Broke Boi” (Also credited as 1st AD). He’d like to thank Mekiel, his fellow NATC members, and his entire support system!     SUNITA - Civics

    is a New York-based actor, writer, and sketch comic. Most recently, she performed off-Broadway with Ma-Yi Theater Company. Her short film “Checking Out” was an official selection in multiple film festivals nationwide, and the viral social media success of her film “7 PM” led her to be invited to speak by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on its panel “Creating Content in Quarantine.” As a writer, her scripts have been finalists in the Screencraft Comedy Contest, the Slamdance Screenplay Competition, and the HollyShorts Screenplay Contest. www.piyalisyam.com IG @piyaltree

    THE MAN WITH THE POWER - Civics

    has acted with such luminaries as John Carradine, Stephanie Zimbalist, John Davidson, and Kim Hunter. He has performed in regional theatres across the country as well as off-Broadway. He just returned from Cape Cod where he acted in Young Jean Lee's "Straight White Men" to critical acclaim. Mark is delighted to be working with New Ambassadors on their ambitious projects. He is new to playwrighting and thrilled his piece "Sons and Fathers" has been selected.

    MOLLY - Tub Therapy

    is an actor of stage and headphones, having recently appeared in New Ambassadors' last HeartBROKE festival, a Long Island production of The Drowsy Chaperone, and the ongoing sci-fi podcast ROGUEMAKER (which they also co-direct and co-produce). They have a BA in theater from Swarthmore College. This summer, you can find them running around Inwood Hill Park as various gods, monsters, and heros being hit by children with foam swords.   • Matthew Menendez

    T - Tub Therapy

    No relation to the Menendez brothers. Matthew is the solution to your casting problem. Funny, sassy, and with a flair for the dramatic there is no acting challenge to big or small that he doesn't enjoy tackling. Since taking the big apple by storm, he started out by living it up on the off, off...off broadway stage and has since then moved to off off broadway and can be seen in indie films, short films and in, the new media, world of web series.

    ROBBIE - Defying Lorelai

    is a writer, actor, and comedian turned mathematics teacher. Upon graduating from Wesleyan University, she joined experimental comedy troupe His Majesty, the Baby. Past credits include GOOD MOURNING (co-producer/writer), DYL (actor), and multiple seasons with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players (actor). She is thrilled to act with New Ambassadors.

  • Erika Barker

    ROBERTA - Defying Lorelai

    is a transgender actress and comedian. She studied acting at the Lisa Maile school in Orlando, Florida, while working as a Journalism Professor at Full Sail University. Her love for storytelling began while serving as a combat journalist in the Navy. There, she became comfortable being on camera doing video news stories for the Armed Forces Network. Due to Erika's military and MMA experience, she has appeared in several popular television shows such as FBI Most Wanted, Law and Order, and The Best Man. Additionally, Erika worked with Whoopi Goldberg on Strut, a reality show about transgender models.

    PHEBE - What You Will

    is a playwright and teacher based in New York City. She is a proud member of the Dramatist Guild and an Arthur Miller Fellow. Erin also loves being a cat mom to two tuxedo kittens and being married to David. She also knows that her title references a different Shakespearean play. Some of her short plays can be found in several editions of The Best Ten Minute Plays edited by Lawrence Harbison and one of her monologues about teaching can be found in Voices of America Vol 1& 3.     is an actor, techie, producer, and general creative originally from New Orleans, LA. She graduated from the Louisiana State University Theatre Program before moving to New York. She is thrilled to have accepted her new role as New Ambassadors’ Programs Director. She was most recently seen in BLURRING BOUNDARIES 2021 and HEARTbroke 2022, both NATC Productions.

    (AEA/SAG-Aftra) is a writer, actor, and producer based in NYC. She is the Associate Artistic Director of New Ambassadors Theatre Co. Her full-length play Tight Five was presented at Cherry Lane Theatre this summer. She has been previously featured as a writer at NATC with her short plays The Devil You Know and Scan Incomplete. She produced and wrote for the anthology fiction podcast The Great Escapism with New Ambassadors, which is available on all major podcast platforms.     DIRECTOR - Falling

    is an actress, director, and writer. She was born and raised in the Republic of Brooklyn. In New York, she has in over forty film and theater credits include, Angry Boy ,48 Hours in Harlem, Queen of Glory, Sundance Lab, Here Theater among others. A 2014 directing fellow/New Perspectives Theater and a member of the 2015 Lincoln Center’s Director’s Lab. A 2016 BarnArts Hamilton Project writing resident. In 2017, a 2019 QuickSilver Theater .     is a NYC-based writer/director/producer. She adapted the young adult novel THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE QUEST with producer James Hornbeak. She’s a director for the The New Ambassadors Theatre Company and a member of the The Playground Experiment. She produced Cannes-winning short film HAPPY NOW (First Place, Cinéfondation) and the AMPAS-winning short THE WORMHOLE (Narrative, First Place, Student Oscars). As a journalist, she garnered Virginia Press Association awards for both writing and photography. Previously, she served as a VP in Finance. She holds a NYU Master’s degree in producing and screenwriting.
